Danielle's keen interest in art and design has continued to blossom from childhood through to her B.Arts with a major in Art and Design, then on to working as a scientific illustrator 12 years. Following that Danielle embraced the world of design establishing her own business "Danielle West Designs" in 2005. For the next few years Danielle kept busy supplying her artwork to display homes and homewares boutiques around Australia.
Danielle has continued to keep her skills fresh, studying Interior Design and Decoration with Master Builders Association and Interior Styling through Perth Central Tafe. Her knowledge of design styles increased after traveling the world for 2 years based in the USA.
Emerging onto the art gallery scene with her first solo exhibition at Mindarie's North Gallery, Danielle's work received accolades as the gallery's most successful exhibition. This was followed by a second successful solo exhibition in 2012 at The Orangery Fine Art Gallery in Shenton Park where Danielle sold eighteen originals.
In 2014 Danielle had her third solo exhibition in Ohio, USA selling many of her signature colourful, original works. In 2016 Danielle opened the "Colours of my Heart" exhibition at Kidogo Arthouse, Fremantle with successful sales and a memorable opening night of over 120 guests.
Danielle continues to sell her vibrant and colourful semi abstract works both from her home studio in Wembley, WA and via gallery exhibitions. Examples of Danielle's artworks can be seen below and she is more than happy to chat regarding your art needs.
